Aircraft Maintenance Systems new management structure –
To propel, revitalize and accelerate development of integrated maintenance software solution
Montreal (Quebec), February 1st, 2016 – Reactis Le Groupe is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Olivier Rey at the position of Chief Executing Officer of Aircraft Maintenance Systems (AMS), effective 4th of January 2016. Throughout his career, Mr. Rey accumulated many experiences in software companies and IT service companies. He worked on international projects and on the creation of new product lines in demanding businesses such as airline operational systems, hotel central reservation systems, financial and lottery systems. His mission in AMS is to modernize the product offer, enable the web and Cloud transition while keeping the fundamentals of the company created by Richard Larue: a real maintenance business expertise, a passion for aerospace and a competitive offer in terms of price. Inside the ReactisGroup, Mr. Rey is also managing directly an R&D project that will enable quickly the genesis of a new generation of Maintenance Information Systems.
As soon as he arrived, Mr. Rey nominated Mr. Thomas Grimaud, Chief Operating Officer in charge of R&D and Business Services. Mr. Grimaud is an experienced project manager and software architect and will implement the transformation plan of the software in the coming months. He worked in various countries, business domains and regulated areas mainly in the software product area. Mrs. Ginette Roseberry was appointed Chief Support Officer of AMS and will keep on managing the support relationship with AMS customers. Mrs. Kim Massie was confirmed in her position of Chief Commercial Officer of AMS in charge of all commerce offers for all territories. “With this experienced and motivated management team, we will do great things for our customers”, M. Rey indicates.
Mr. Rey comments the challenge as being quite motivating: “Since Reactis Le Groupe acquired the AMS company in 2013, the software did not evolve as fast as we planned due to the fact that the scope of the AMS suite is very important and that there are numerous customers from every aerospace sector (MRO, EMS, Oil and Gas, etc.). In 2015, the Reactis Le Groupe decided to boost the R&D in 2016 to enhance the product with the new features that our customers need. 2016 will be a key year for AMS with two main projects that already started: the technical and functional upgrade of the current software and the first modules of the new generation that will benefit quite quickly to our customers. It is time for us now to modernize the software offer while keeping the same spirit that was in the past: a real passion for aerospace maintenance, being rotor wings or fixed wings, balloons or unmanned systems. This is an important challenge but the whole AMS team is enthusiastic about this adventure.”
